CEO & Director of Construction
Mason Smith
Mason brings a wealth of construction experience, having worked extensively in residential and commercial high rise projects. Growing up in Madison, Mississippi, he gained hands on experience assisting his parents in building homes for major developments.
He later earned a degree in Building Construction Science with a minor in Business from Mississippi State University. After graduating, Mason spent three years in Nashville, Tennessee, working in project management on large scale multifamily construction projects for a leading general contractor.
During this time, he successfully managed a 21 story, 210 unit multifamily development with more than $40 million in construction scope before advancing to a 26 story, 265 unit project valued at over $45 million. These experiences provided a strong foundation in project management, quality control, budgeting, scheduling, and client focused execution, principles he continues to bring to every MK Construction project today.
With a strong foundation in large scale construction and leadership, Mason and Kylee took a bold step by founding their own construction company, turning their vision into reality.
Director of Marketing & Operations
Kylee Smith
Kylee brings a rare combination of creative vision and strategic expertise to MK Construction. A fifth generation Tampa native, she was born and raised in South Tampa and attended Plant High School before leaving Florida to pursue her degree at Mississippi State University, where she earned a Bachelor of Arts in Communications with a concentration in Public Relations.
Her career began in Nashville, Tennessee, where she worked in marketing for a respected construction company and affordable housing organization, developing a deep understanding of what home truly means to families.
She then transitioned into the world of large scale commercial construction, supporting projects across the Western United States, including Colorado, Texas, California, and Arizona, for a major mechanical, electrical, and plumbing subcontractor. This experience sharpened her eye for detail, strengthened her communication skills, and reinforced the importance of seamless project execution.
Today, Kylee leads MK Construction's marketing, branding, and client communications, helping tell the story behind each project and ensuring a seamless client experience from start to finish. Drawing on her creative background and attention to detail, she also provides design and selection guidance when needed, helping clients create spaces that are both beautiful and functional. She brings the same elevated standard to every MK Construction project, ensuring the experience is just as exceptional as the finished space.

Dean Paluch
Dean is a Tampa native who attended Tampa Catholic High School before continuing his education at the University of South Florida. Throughout his career, he has founded, owned, and invested in multiple successful businesses, developing extensive experience in entrepreneurship, business operations, strategic planning, and investment management.
After partnering with MK Construction on a project, Dean recognized the company's vision, values, and potential for growth and became an integral part of the team. Today, as President of MK Construction, he provides strategic leadership and business oversight, helping guide the company's long term growth and success.
Dean brings a wealth of knowledge in business development, investments, financial planning, and operational strategy. He works closely with the team on real estate acquisitions, renovation projects, custom homes, and investment opportunities, helping evaluate project feasibility, manage business risk, and coordinate with attorneys, real estate professionals, and other key stakeholders throughout the process.
His entrepreneurial mindset and commitment to building sustainable, successful businesses help ensure that every project is approached not only with quality craftsmanship in mind, but also with a strong foundation for long term success.

Matthew Schobert
Project Manager
Matthew is a Tampa native who was born and raised in South Tampa. He graduated from Plant High School before earning his degree from Florida State University.
Matthew joined MK Construction during its early stages as an intern, working alongside founders Mason and Kylee Smith as the company was being built from the ground up. Through hard work, dedication, and a commitment to continuous learning, he advanced to Assistant Project Manager and now serves as Project Manager, playing a key role in the company's continued growth and success.
Over the years, Matthew has developed extensive experience managing a wide range of residential construction projects, with particular expertise in condominium renovations, hurricane restoration projects, bathroom remodels, and kitchen remodels. Known for his strong communication skills, attention to detail, and problem solving abilities, he works closely with clients, subcontractors, and project teams to ensure projects are completed efficiently and to the highest standards.
As one of the longest-tenured members of the MK Construction team, Matthew's knowledge of the company's processes, commitment to quality craftsmanship, and dedication to client satisfaction make him an invaluable part of every project he oversees.
Tommy Rossiter
Painting & Punch-Out Superintendent
Tommy brings more than four decades of painting expertise to MK Construction. A Tampa native, Tommy was born and raised in the Tampa Bay area, attending Tampa Catholic High School before continuing his education at the University of South Florida.
Tommy's roots in the industry run deep. His father, Tom Rossiter, founded Tom Rossiter & Son Painting, a company that has proudly served homeowners, builders, and businesses throughout the Tampa Bay area for more than 40 years. Through decades of hands-on experience, Tommy developed a reputation for quality craftsmanship, attention to detail, and exceptional customer service.
Today, following the merger of Tom Rossiter & Son Painting with MK Construction, Tommy leads the company's painting division as Painting & Punch-Out Superintendent. He works closely with homeowners, builders, and project teams to oversee painting projects from start to finish, including client consultations, estimating, scheduling, crew coordination, and quality control.
As a lifelong Tampa resident, Tommy takes pride in serving the community he has called home for generations and continues to uphold the values of craftsmanship, integrity, and personal service that have defined the Rossiter name for over four decades.
Ignacio Corporan
Carpenter
Ignacio serves as Lead Carpenter for MK Construction, bringing a strong commitment to quality craftsmanship and attention to detail to every project. As a key member of the construction team, Ignacio plays an important role in bringing each project's vision to life through his skill, precision, and dedication to excellence.
Known for his strong work ethic and meticulous approach, Ignacio oversees a wide range of carpentry work across custom homes, renovations, and remodeling projects. Whether completing detailed finish work, framing, or custom installations, he takes pride in ensuring every aspect of a project meets MK Construction's high standards.
Ignacio's reliability, craftsmanship, and dedication make him an invaluable member of the MK Construction team and a trusted contributor to the quality and success of every project he touches.
Andi Paluch
HR Director
With over 10 years of HR experience, Andi has cultivated a comprehensive background in manufacturing, construction, technology, and energy storage, as well as in startups, small businesses, and large corporations.
A graduate of the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater, Andi earned her degree in Sociology and Human Resource Management, with certifications in Safety and Diversity and Inclusion.
Her career has been marked by a passion for working with startups and helping small companies establish effective HR processes. She is dedicated to empowering organizations to succeed by ensuring they are equipped with the HR strategies necessary for growth and sustainability.
Uliana Vlasov
Administrative Assistant
Uliana serves as Administrative Assistant for MK Construction, providing organizational and operational support that helps keep projects and daily business operations running smoothly. With a strong background in communication, customer service, and administrative coordination, she plays an important role in supporting both the office and project teams.
Originally from Russia, Uliana holds a degree in Psychology from the Moscow Institute of Psychoanalysis and is fluent in both English and Russian. Her educational background has provided her with valuable skills in communication, problem solving, organization, and interpersonal relations that she brings to her role each day.
At MK Construction, Uliana assists with document management, vendor coordination, financial documentation, office administration, and project support. Known for her attention to detail, professionalism, and positive attitude, she helps ensure that daily operations remain efficient and organized while supporting the needs of clients, vendors, and team members.
Uliana's dedication, adaptability, and commitment to excellence make her a valued member of the MK Construction team and an important contributor to the company's continued growth.
Jeff Bush
Property Manager
As Property Manager, Jeff oversees the management and operation of investment properties and rental homes. His expertise provides added value to clients who are renovating or building homes for income producing purposes, offering insight into property performance, guest experience, and long term asset management.
Originally from California, Jeff recently relocated to the Tampa Bay area and brings a strong commitment to customer service, property operations, and attention to detail.
Jeff's understanding of property management and rental operations helps bridge the gap between construction, renovation, and long term property success, making him a valuable resource for clients looking to maximize the potential of their investments.

Tampa has been Kylee’s home for five generations, and with Mason and Kylee being together for over 10 years, it felt like the perfect place to build their life, start their family, and stay deeply rooted in the community they know and love.
